Tamika Gibson, Deputy Administrator for the Court of Appeals of Georgia

Tamika serves as the Deputy Administrator for the Court of Appeals of Georgia. She graduated first in her class from Morgan State University, where she was a Board of Regents Scholar. After earning her law degree from Howard University School of Law, she served as a public defender and has since spent her entire legal career in public service. She has an extensive background in appeals, having served as an appellate prosecutor, an appellate law clerk, and as a staff attorney at the Court of Appeals of Georgia.

Tamika is active in various Bar Associations in Georgia, including the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, for which she is the 2025 Chair of the Judicial and Public Office Academy. She enjoys spending time with her family, writing, and judging moot court competitions.
