The Site Selection Committee is now accepting bids to host the NCACC Annual Conference in August 2028! This is a fantastic opportunity for all members, including past hosts, to showcase your city/state to fellow members and guests.
Why Host?
• Highlight the unique attractions and strengths of your city and state or host in a state you want to share with others.
• Foster connections within the NCACC and your local community.
• Create an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Resources Available to Support You
Maritz Global Events: Leverage their expertise for logistics, hotel selection, contracting, and promotion. Maritz handles a lot of the difficult leg work for you including the RFP and contracting process.
Host Manual: Comprehensive guidance on planning and executing a successful conference.
Co-Hosting Options: Team with another member for added support and resources.
Former Hosts: Consult with past hosts for valuable insights and tips.
Where?
Since we will be on the east coast in 2027 and in the south central region of the country in 2026, perhaps some of our west coast brethren would think of hosting or co-hosting. Can anyone say the Pacific Northwest?
There are several states where, according to our website, we have not held an annual conference: Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Of course there are the territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas but not sure if our individual states would authorize travel outside of the contiguous United States. (Although we got Alaska approved, it is outside the “lower 48” as we learned the folks in Alaska refer to the contiguous states. You learn all sorts of things at NCACC conferences.)
Next Steps
To express your interest in hosting, please contact one of the members of the site selection committee. We will be happy to answer any questions or help alleviate any concerns. We urge you not to miss this chance to shine a spotlight on your state, a nearby state, or, maybe even your home state where you no longer live. If you’re interested in submitting a bid or have questions, please reach out to any member of the Site Selection Committee.
Let us make the 2028 conference one for the books!
