The confetti has barely settled from cutting down the nets at our 2026 annual conference in Austin, but it is never too early to scout the next big game. It is time to start planning for 2029. Bring the NCACC’s Big Dance to your city or state by volunteering to host our 57th Annual Conference.

Hosting is one of the greatest ways to serve your fellow clerks and the NCACC. Yes, you may feel the same butterflies as stepping onto the court for a big game, but you will not be playing alone. You will have a whole fanbase in your corner. Through our partnership with Maritz, you will have a seasoned support staff helping you draw up the game plan for finding the right hotel and negotiating the best contractual terms. And you will also have a deep bench of former hosts who are ready to provide advice and encouragement.

Don’t want to go it alone? Hosting can be a team sport. Consider teaming up with other members or retired members to share the load.

Willing to play an away game? If there is a city or region outside your home state that you have had your eye on, take the shot. Previous conferences have been hosted by members who lived hundreds of miles away, and in the case of the 2013 conference, thousands of miles away. Home-court advantage is great, but a road-game victory is just as sweet.
